Lessons Learned #17-21

17. If a bus says 14 passengers, just regard that. What they really meant to write was “as many people as you can fit, even if that means strangers are sitting on each other’s lap” but it was too long to fit on the side of the bus.

18. Pedestrians never have the right of way.

19. If you’re a man and have to go to the bathroom, why wait? The side of the road looks like a great place to go, or that field, or a pile of trash, that bush looks like a good place…

20. Picking your nose in public= perfectly normal. If you don’t get anything the first time, don’t give up, just keep trying.

21. Talk to strangers. Don’t be fooled, it is not only okay to talk to strangers but to ask them for money, to sponsor them or some family member, to ask them to come to their house for lunch, walk with them and talk even when it is quite obvious the stranger wants nothing more than for them to stop following them and talking.
